Ok, so who wants to talk about frustration as today's point of reference? Well, raise your fucking hand because that is what we're talking about (whether you like it or not).

Frustration. There are so many ways to define this word and yet we so inarticulately define it to others when we are frustrated; it's like all communication stops. The other day I experienced a rather short, but rampant, bit of frustration in dealing with one of my "teachers." And I put teacher in quotes because he isn't really a teacher, professor, or otherwise - he just happens to be a grad student; seems like they're handing out teaching jobs to McDoanld's employees these days as well...as long as you got that four year degree, who cares? You could be a pedophile but give us your degree and we'll overlook that tiny, little piece of information.

So, anyway, I guess this entry isn't just about frustration it's about 'merit' as well. I'm so sick of not being rewarded for my merit. Sounds selfish and childish, I know, but it's the truth, I admit it. Motherfuckers all over are getting crap for their humility or merits but NOOOOOOOOO! not for Caitin, that's too much. I didn't realize we had a rough draft due in one of my classes and I have been busy trying to keep up with other shit in my other classes. Now, normally I am on top of things in that class, having stuff turned in prior to due dates, participating like it's my job to lead the damn class. I asked my teacher if I could turn in the rough draft late and that if it was absolutely necessary, he can take a few extra points of for tardiness. He said, "No." No, "I'm sorry Caitlin, I can't do that" or "It's against the policies of this class." NOTHING! Just "NO!" I was so angry, I wanted to punch him in the face...

So, today's lesson kiddies? Merit = bullshit, worhtless. K, thanks.

*Always.
Caitlin
