All the guys I've ever known, in my past, have blocked out this idea of what I might be living with for the rest of my life, and let me tell yah: soulmate has not yet managed to sweep away all my preconceived notions about relationships and guys. I say I don't want a relationship, but I do, but I highly doubt I will ever find the person that that relationship will be with. Perhaps when I think about relationships I have this weird, abstract, possibly even incorrect, idea about what it should be like? I don't know.
Soulmate is something I do not see in the opposite sex, at all. I feel to have this notion in my head makes me unhealthy as opposed to optimistic. Sad really. Such a thing as fine as romanticism and yet I cannot bring myself to be open to the idea of enjoying such a thing.
I found a quote this evening that I believe wholeheartedly - and with my whole heart I know it's so wrong to be so closed off, but I just cannot help myself...
