A Life Less Ordinary A Life Less Ordinary
January 13, 2005
So, let's talk about why I am paying so much money to live in a place where rats, yes rats!, roam free and wild.

This evening Jessica and I went to eat dinner in the Wright Cafeteria and we stood in the usual lines and ordered the usual food. But something my friends, was not so usual about this evening. We went and sat by the television as is our normal schedule. The NCST and Duke game was on, a good time for all of course. Casually I was looking around and my eyes started to wander down and there I see this black fuzzy ball crawling into a vent...oh man! The tail was danglin' and all - I saw it! They can't lie to me any longer saying this place is "clean." Now it's one thing (I guess) to have a rat in a place where I sleep or something but the damn cafeteria? Not so healthy...

And I thought that was the last incident, but no there was another one that followed his little friend into the same inviting vent. I am not sure if they live there or they were just visiting but either way I know that now whenever I walk into the Wright Cafeteria I will not be sitting in my usual seat or eating my usual food again. Nope, not I!

*Always.
