So, I got to thinking yesterday - or perhaps it was the day before yesterday - anyway I got to thinking about past flames....

What makes a person resort back to their old flame? Is it loneliness? boredom? or fate's way of telling us where we belong? Of the three, I feel that the latter is obviously NOT correct...well in most cases anyway. But HOW can you tell?

Especially if the former relationship/flame was one of little importance - by little importance I mean: it didn't take up much time in your life and didn't contribute a whole lot to your love life experiences. And this was my problem...if it isn't important then why in the hell does it keep resurfacing? If I don't care at all then why do I carry on meaningless conversations?

Is it possible to be so lost in your love life that you'll take any bait thrown your way? even if it means old bait? And furthermore should we, as knowing human beings, give in to these urges and ponderous moments? I can't tell you for once readers, so....will someone please tell me?

*Always.
