Dear friend, I want you to know that there is no use in speaking parables and quoting lines of defiance, if you mean not to defy and not to take yourself out of that situation. No good comes from questioning why you let someone treat you like crap.
I love you and I fear for you at the same time. It is not love that has blinded you. It is but fear. Fear from being without him. And I know that you don't want to let go and that it is hard and hurtful, but maybe it is time to let go. You can't keep all things forever. Maybe you can only love something while you have it and then let it go.
I see you struggle between your head and your heart. And though normally the heart may not be rational it is feeling and human, it is time to listen to your head dear. It is time to move away from something you are clinging to desperately.
If you let go, the landing will be hard and probably not as you'd like it. But you will get up and walk away from that landing to move on to something softer. Healing.
