A Life Less Ordinary A Life Less Ordinary
October 17, 2005
So, for some reason I really haven't had all that much to write about, but it recently came to me (after reading someone else's journal/blog) that I never dream about the typical things that people dream about.

Take for instance James: (whom I stole this first idea from)...now, James wrote an entry recently about what he would do if he won the lottery. He listed off a ridiculous amount of things like buying cars, building houses and buying material possessions...though he never mentioned anything about giving any money to charity or helping out his hometown of Indianapolis in any way. Funny. It must be the republican in him; because though I am a democrat IF I had money to give to charities and the like, I would definitely give it. :) Now, if I won the lottery I think I would give most of it to my parents mostly because they have probably spent an entire lottery winnings on raising me, and I would probably buy myself a new car because the one I have now is always causing me problems (i.e. - shitty alternator, made shittier so by the crappyass battery and cracked belt!) and then I would probably pay off any and all debts I had.

But I recently confessed to Robyn the other day that I don't dream of winning the lottery or becoming a movie star or engaging in a dangerous liaison, oh no! I dream about being 21! I mean come on! WTF is that? Ridiculous. *sigh* And while other people are dating people and asking serious questions like "Are we going to get married? When am I going to meet his family?" etc. I am out thinking about when the next time I will be getting laid by my boyfriend will be. It's too hard being serious anymore - it makes me frown. I love to laugh and yet sometimes I feel I am too serious...or am I?

I don't know; who does though? Ugh.

*Always.
