A Life Less Ordinary A Life Less Ordinary

I went out last night; my friend and I, Julia - I'm assuming she won't mind if I use her name - went dancing. It was fun (part of the night). We laughed like old times; sometimes we laughed at the music, at other people, even at ourselves. And I was going to hang out with this Johhny B. character after we left the club (at around 3am) and I don't know...

He was the one ghettofied (is that a word?) guy that I made fun of at the beginning of the night...and look who I ended up interested in? HA! It never fails...

And I realized something tonight that made me regret my one-night stands and meaningless relationships; I'm purely biding my time until the person for me comes along. It's like that saying: in reality, from the moment we are born, we are waiting to die. And it's true, life leads do death (there is no way of getting around that). So, I think that relationships lead to bonds; and if I never have at least one true and serious relationship with someone (before the "right" person for me comes along) I may lose them without even knowing it. I may "die without living" first. It's an odd feeling...

And this realization that I had, well it made me think of someone in particular, Special K! I realized that even if he isn't the "one" for me, we still have a unique bond and I want to experience and embrace that before it fades or diminishes. I want to do that with all my friendships, family relationships, etc.

Special K had mentioned earlier that he had no one to love and no one to love him; he was lonely...to him I say simply: perhaps you look at this from the wrong perspective; Life is giving you a chance to build a new relationship with anyone you choose and that relationship could include whatever you want - love, company, friendship, etc...

You make your life what it is...we all do.

*Always.
