I had an earlier entry regarding the Bridges of Madison County...and it dawned upon me that perhaps even if you really like or even love a person you can only have something great with them in a certain type of atmosphere. He offered to take her with him (which was a lot for him because he was a traveler) and she knew that if she had gone with them that what they had with one another would indefinitely change.I think that has been my problem; if I were to have certain relationships with people that I liked, it wouldn't have been the same once we got together...and maybe that's why I am not with them to begin with...it's craziness I KNOW! But I guess that is life; always handing you second prize for first place. Grrrr!
